A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, providing services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position involves working onsite at a K-12 school in Texico, New Mexico, beginning December 1, 2025, through May 21, 2026.
Responsibilities include delivering direct therapy services and conducting evaluations for students across the K-12 spectrum. Caseload assignments will be tailored based on the therapists experience and preferences, ensuring a balanced and effective workflow. Collaboration with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans is a key component of this role.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license or certification in New Mexico is required.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining thorough documentation.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel.
- Commitment to providing quality care in a school environment.
This is a contract position with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, offering meaningful work directly contributing to student development and success.
